2019 AMERICAN TRIBUTE RIDE IS IN THE FINAL PLANNING STAGES

Our “Adopt a Veteran” committee reports that we have many early pre-registered participants are pay tribute to our veterans.  For $10.00, supporters will allow a veteran along our route be able to have an evening meal following the Memorial Service. For those that wish to support our “Adopt a Veteran” cause can donate $10.00 per veteran via using the pre-registration form found on our website [www.americantributeride.com]

The American Tribute Ride Committee is still accepting sponsors for the event.  The American Tribute Ride has designated the following entities to receive funds from this year’s ride:  Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial, the Wisconsin Summer Camp for Youth Burn Survivors, Old Glory Honor Flights, Concerns Of Police Survivors-Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Veterans Housing and Recovery Program at King.  Sponsors donations help offset the cost of operations [i.e. porta-potties, food, printing, etc.]  If you or if you know of an individual or a company that would be like to be a sponsor have them contact Ron Naab, Chair of the American Tribute Ride [262/629-9749 or atrchair@gmail.com].

Members have driven the route a number of times and feel very confident and comfortable with the safety and beautiful view we will see and experience.  Our hosts, Lamartine, Grand River, Neshkoro, New Chester and Coloma Fire Departments and the Wautoma Veterans have many exciting and gratifying tributes for those in the convoy.

Our Memorial Service in Coloma is dedicated to the 2019 Line of Duty Deaths– Appleton Fire Department’s Engineer/Driver Mitchell Lundgaard, Officer Matthew J. Rittner and Officer Michael John Michalski of the Milwaukee Police Department along with Captain Corey Barr of the Sun Prairie Fire Department and Captain Chris Truman of the Lake Mills Fire Department.  The ATR committee invites those that wish to honor these people to attend the ceremony which will be  held at the Coloma Village Park around 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 27th.

Two, three or four-wheelers can find registration forms on-line at www.americantributeride.com or contact Ron Naab at rjnaab@frontier.com.  Our donation request has remained the same with $25.00 for a single bike and $35.00 for a two-up cycle.
